Gandhi Jayanti
Thomas Memorial English High School solemnly celebrated Gandhi Jayanti to
commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the
Nation. The programme highlighted Gandhiji‟s ideals of truth, non-violence,
simplicity, and self-discipline. Students and teachers paid floral tributes to
Mahatma Gandhi‟s portrait and reflected on his invaluable contribution to
India‟s freedom struggle. Through speeches and activities, students were
inspired to follow the path of peace, harmony, and responsible citizenship. The
celebration reinforced the relevance of Gandhian values in shaping a just and
compassionate society.
